HIRA

The Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) course equips employees and supervisors with the practical tools to systematically identify workplace hazards, assess the level of risk they present, and implement effective control measures.

Participants work through the full risk assessment process: identifying potential hazards, evaluating likelihood and severity using a risk matrix, applying the hierarchy of controls, and compiling a compliant risk register. The course includes practical exercises using scenarios from your industry.

HIRA training is a key requirement of any compliant OHS management system and is mandated under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
